   And literally count the number of stories that are related to government scandals/corruption/wasted money. Even just state ones. I don’t understand how people continue to defend these hemorrhages of tax money. Here’s a tip, in political speak, “reform” means nothing, “fix” means nothing. Every single liberal president or senator or governor constantly defends bloated government programs for the past 40 years and says yeah these programs are “broken” but if you re-elect me I will “fix” them and “reform” them. Wake the fuck up. They are not broken. They are functioning as well as they possibly can. Government programs are inherently wasteful and malfunctioning and have massively important unintended consequences.
